2008-2009

Outstanding Achievement- A student must achieve Honours in all four core subjects: Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies. New this year we will be giving an Outstanding Achievement to those students with IPP’s that complete 80%  or more of their goals.

Paul Kucher Award-  This award is presented to a grade 6 student who has made an outstanding contribution to Belmead school through leadership and service to others. They have demonstrated all our Character Traits: Respect, Responsibility, Tolerance, Perseverance, Honesty and Kindness.

Physical Education Award– This award is given to a boy and girl who have demonstrated fairness, sportsmanship and leadership. They have shown the Character Traits of Respect, Honesty, Responsibility and Kindness.

Harim Ismaeil and Jackelyn Elosendo Room 16

Sherry Debuta Volunteer Spirit Award– This has been donated by the Avenue of Nations Rotary Club. The school has been given money to purchase 2 identical books – one for the student and one to be added to the school library. The recipient of the award will be given a book that has a name plate inside that says the student’s name. The recipient of this award will have demonstrated the following Character Traits: Respect, Perseverance Tolerance and Kindness.

Music Award– This is awarded to a grade 6 student who has shown dedication, appreciation, respect, perseverance and a love of music.

Art Award– This is awarded to a grade 6 student who has shown creativity, unique talents, followed established criteria, showed dedication and perseverance.
