Current Division Students Pre-Enrol
Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the deadline to help our school get ready for 2026–27!
We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 25 have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!
Registering after the deadline
You can still register your child after the deadline, or for immediate entry—we accept new registrations all year long. Contact your designated school if you have questions about late registration.
New Student Registration

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.
If you have any questions about registering, contact the school office.
Parents will also need to upload documents that help us confirm their child’s legal name, citizenship, birth date and home address using the online registration form.
EXAMPLES OF ACCEPTED DOCUMENTATION FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS:
Legal proof of student’s age and name:
- Canadian provincial birth certificate
- Canadian citizenship document
- Permanent Resident Card (front and back)
- Canadian Passport
Two Confirmation of Address:
- Driver's license
- Utility bill
- Home insurance
- Property tax bill
- In some cases, immigration documents (e.g. landed immigrant documentation or a Permanent Residence Card) may also be required. Visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada for more information.
- In some cases, you may be asked to provide more than two of the above.
Once you have submitted a completed and signed digital registration form, you will receive an email confirming the form has been submitted.
The school will not be calling you unless they need some supporting documentation for the registration.
Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2025 may register in Kindergarten for the 2025–26 school year.
Full in planned classes
For the 2025 - 2026 school year, Belmead School is full in planned classes in Full day Kindergarten in the regular program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
